But don’t feel sorry for me, because I had a great weekend with glorious weather and the company of great friends, I have a wonderful job to return to on Tuesday, and there are no hurricanes threatening anywhere around my region. So I feel like one blessed girl.
The thought of New Orleans folks evacuating again is heart-sickening. Folks down South dealing with Gustav, please know that you are being held in love, hope and some fierce praying.
